The Alzheimer’s Association
The Alzheimer’s Association is truly a lifeline for those affected by this disease. The Association works on a global, national and local level to provide and enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias. Services include extensive information resources, caregiver consulting and training, help lines, online support services and so much more. Through their funding they have been involved in every major advancement in Alzheimer’s research since the 1980’s and they are a leader in the global fight for a world without Alzheimer’s. The Association is also the #1 voice for Alzheimer's disease advocacy, fighting for critical Alzheimer's research, prevention and care initiatives at the state and federal level. Their work is almost entirely funded by charitable donations from people like you. Now donating is as easy as shopping on GoodShoppr.com!
From August 2012 onward, 5% of all sales will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association. So far, we've raised $300.93.
A personal appeal: Want to make a tax-deductible donation directly? Visit my personal fundraising page for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at tinyurl.com/grantswalkpage. I (Grant Jenks) lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s in 2003. I created Goodshoppr to raise funds for charities I care about, and from August 2012 onward proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association. Your support -- by donating as well as by shopping and telling your friends about goodshoppr -- means a lot to me.
